My fascination with jewelry dates back to childhood. But then, what little girl doesn’t love jewelry? My first experience with silversmithing dates back to high school where I was continually breaking saw blades. My teacher was doubtful that I had a feeling for the fine work entailed. However, I did not let that discourage me. I later studied at California College of Art where, under the tutelage of several master silversmiths, I continued my jewelry making and learned not to break saw blades. When I moved to London to study fashion design, I continued my studies in jewelry. After returning to Hollywood, I worked many years as a designer in the fashion industry, abandoning my jewelry making. In recent years, I have rediscovered the joy of working with metal.
