Kim Tucker studied ceramic sculpture under the direction of Viola Frey and Arthur Gonzalez at the California College of Arts and Crafts, graduating with a BFA. Kim then went on to receive her MFA under the guidance of MJ Bole from Ohio State University. Since then she has won several awards for her sculpture and drawing. Kim has attended several artist residencies including "Futur" in Switzerland and Mount St. Mary's College. She continues to work figuratively, creating installations of figures that speak about the human condition. Kim is currently teaching at Mount St. Mary's College in Los Angeles, CA.
