Karen's love for jewelry and creating it started when she was a little girl. She had a string of big wooden beads and would string them and restring them over and over. Karen started working for a jewelry designer in Hollywood in the 1980s. She struck out on her own and sold wholesale to stores all over the world. More recently, she has added hand-knitted and hand-loomed sweaters to her line. The mixture of fashion with modern art is evident in the simplicity of the designs. All jewelry is available on the Veronica Rock Studio website. The sweaters are made in limited numbers.
